52 മത് സബ്ജില്ലാ കലോത്സവത്തിന് വര്ണാഭമയതുടക്കം. കാരിക്കോടിനെ പുളകമണിയിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് കുട്ടികള് ഒരുക്കിയ ഘോഷയാത്രയോടെയാണ് കലോത്സവം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. വിവിധ രചനാമത്സരങ്ങളും ദേശഭക്തിഗാനം സംഘഗാനം പ്രസംഗം തുടങ്ങിയ മത്സരങ്ങളോടെ ആദ്യ ദിവസത്തെ മേള സമാപിച്ചു.
